Job Location : Bangalore
Job Type: This is a 1 year renewable contract position based in Bangalore.

JD
Minimum of 4 to 5 years hands-on working experience in Java/J2EE application development 
Strong in web programming on both server side (Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, EJB, Java XML) and client side (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Willing to learn and support Liferay Portal Framework Administration and Development. Good understanding of web portals and Liferay would be a plus
Hands-on experience in DBMS (Oracle, Sql Server)
Very good understanding of SDLC
Knowledge of Php, Mysql, TOAD and Source Jammer would be an added advantage
Hands-on experience in Solaris operating system
Knowledge of Webservers - Experience in JBoss desired

Roles and Responsibilities
The main responsibility is to develop and maintain customized tools for our learning management system, WebCT and other U21 Global in-house software applications.  You will also get to be involved in various development and support of portal applications.   This position will be based in Bangalore but reporting to managers based in Singapore.
