Job Details : echnical expertise on dimensional modeling, warehouse bus architecture design.
Responsible for understanding of the entire code base, architectural considerations, build process, design and design decisions
Responsible for development infrastructure (including Build environment, tools, etc)
Responsible for mentoring the entire team of developers to understand the architecture, design, functional and non-functional requirements of the project/product.
Responsible for interacting with Customer Tech leads and/or Architects/System Engineers
Role & Responsibility:
Must to have:
* 2-4 years of work experience on C/C++ with Unix or Java, 3-5 years of experience on Teradata only
* Teradata version v2r6 or 12: thorough understanding of TD architecture, Teradata specific SQL, and Teradata Tools & Utilities like BTEQ, FastLoad, fastExport, MultiLoad, TPump
* Thorough understanding of Teradata Parallel Transporter Architecture, various operators like Load/Stream/Export Driver, TPT API using C++
* Worked on Teradata programmable UDFs or Stored Procedures in C/C++ or java or Teradata SQL Nice to have:
* ETL, DWH concepts
* Teradata v2r5 or TD 12 certification
* Teradata DWH optimization, query tuning, installation on Windows/SuSE/MP-RAS
* Handling of multi-byte, Unicode/UTF-8 data issues in TD
Tech Skills: Teradata, C++ with Unix or Java, TPT
Exps : 7 years experience in IT
