One of our esteemed clients seeks talented and experienced .Net (C#, Vb.net/Asp.net) Developers who are bright and strong enough to withstand the challenges and pressures of financial business environment. The successful applicant will work alongside the business a unique and rewarding exposure to front lines of global banking and the new financial products, which are becoming popular in the after-crisis environment.

In this post you will be delivering front and back office solutions in close interaction with bankers, as required by this new and growing branch of the business.

The successful candidate will have strong experience in design, development and implementation of solutions using .NET and C# (sharp) technologies; proven skills in Sybase / SQL Server/ Oracle, including Microsoft Reporting Services, and previous exposure to release and change management, as well as data migration and configuration experience. Passion for technology and ability to analyze problems and solutions is expected.

Skills:

Degree educated in numerate subjects, such as Maths, Science, Engineering or Computer Science.
• Solid developing background with experience in win forms, C#, working in the Microsoft .NET framework

• Experience of Databases (MS SQL Server, Sybase or Oracle)
• Knowledge of banking financial environments, preferably Structured Products
• Fluency in English
• Strong communication skills and ability to deal directly with stakeholders on the business side

Competent programming skills â€" specifically in C#, .NET and MS SQL

Design and development track record in Banking/financial/Insurance systems

Proven analysis capabilities in commercial environment

Used to working under pressure to tight deadlines

Fixing bugs quickly and efficiently to avoid re-occurrence

Working as part of a development team

Support internal staff and customers for fault resolution and Training on new and modified systems


Principal Responsibilities:

Work on multiple problems of diverse scope where refinement of design/requirements will be necessary & is expected to drive resolution of requirements. This involves taking requirements from multiple sources, like customers and equipment vendors, plus planning and delivering the resultant project tasks and deliverables on time and to budget

Produce functional and design specifications and test plans in the course of implementing solutions

Leading a design activity and taking responsibility for design and development of a module or modules

Be proactive in a development team, contributes significantly to the success of the team and able to gain the co-operation of others.

Maintains an organized, systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to designing, problem solving, coding and defect fixing

Have excellent oral and written communication skills for effective dialogue with colleagues on a project team and superiors
