Job Title:
Developers/Sr. Developers

Position Requirements
- Around 4 years of Software development experience with a proven track record and practical experience with a full lifecycle software methodology
- Proven experience in designing and implementing software modules for performance intensive, large scale enterprise deployments
- Knowledge of UML, object-oriented architectures and Software Design patterns
- Good development experience in Core Java technologies like Multi Threading, collection frameworks, RMI, etc.
- Development experience in implementing Web Services technologies
- Exposure to working with Database using JDBC Drivers, Hibernate
- Familiarity with any one Database preferably Sybase or Oracle
- Exposure to scripting language like Shell Scripts, AWK, Perl, etc.
- Development experience in XML-based technologies and transformations, including DTDs, schema, XSLT, etc.
- Experience with Windows and Unix platforms
- Ability to work with little supervision as well as being a team player
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience refactoring software and working with existing code
- Experience with agile and iterative methodologies, such as XP, Scrum or RUP
- Experience with ANT-based build scripting
- Experience working with remote teams

Position Description
Primary responsibilities include gathering, implementing, and maintaining the software modules. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in developing enterprise scale software products/solutions using core java, web services, and XML-based technologies.

Position Roles and Responsibilities
- Work with the technical team on technical details of the requirement, design, write new code, and deliver the same with good quality.
- Work with Quality Assurance and Performance testing team to insure a quality product, develop metrics and ensure that the developed software meets the requirements of high performance and scalability.
- Maintain all code generated or updated
- Ensure that project issues are communicated in a timely and effective manner
- Develop other types of automation to support unit testing and performance testing of infrastructure, using scripts, utilities etc.
