www.enterprisedb.com For our Indian Development center (Pune) we are looking for Following positions: 1. Database Administrator 2. QA Engineer 3. Software Engineer-Tools Developer Database Administrator : Job Code (EDB001) - Candidate should have relevant DBA experience of 4 - 7 years.
- Should have handled large size production databases.
- Proficient in installations on UNIX platforms. Solaris is must.
- Strong database administration skills.
- Database Capacity planning
- Strong PL/SQL knowledge: Ability to write procedures, packages, triggers, functions etc.
- Backup and recovery: Ability to implement and test backup/recovery strategies for production database. (RMAN is must)
- Performance Tuning: Ability to tune various database parameters and optimize SQL queries.
- Database replication.
- Ability to work in 24X7 environments.
- Data modeling (Forward/Reverse engineering )
- Knowledge of RAC and Data Guard is essential.
- Ability to write shell scripts.
- Should have OS tuning experience for-Windows 2003, Linux Redhat/SUSE, HP-UX and Solaris.
- Ability to work in Onsite/Offsite model.
The Candidate will be responsible for database related activities such as stored procedures, tuning, writing, Perl Scripts etc. Candidate would have opportunities to visit Client sites.
QA Engineer : Job Code (EDB002) - 4-7 years of experience in Manual Testing.
- Knowledge in different phases of Software Development Life Cycle.
- Experience in creating Test plans and Detailed Test case development.
- Experience in Manual and Automated Testing of Client-Server and Web-based applications.
- Experience in GUI, Functionality, Regression, Performance, Installation and Database Testing.
- Experience in preparation of Test Case Specifications and Test status Reports.
- Experience in API, Black box Testing.
- Familiarity with Bug reporting and Defect tracking cycles.
- Working knowledge of Test Director 8.0 and Quality Center 9.0.
- Experience in project applications across varied domains and operating systems.
- Preferred knowledge of QTP 9.0.
- Working knowledge of UNIX.
- Strong Knowledge of SQL Queries, Pl/SQL programming.
- Good knowledge of Shell/Perl Scripting.
Software Engineer-Tools Developer : Job Code (EDB003) - 5+ years of Experience as a J2EE architect.
- Good SQL knowledge, Good experience with developing database clients in Java.
- Good Linux Knowledge.
- Experience with JBOSS webserver.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL will be a plus.
- Unix/Linux Platform experience is a must. Windows experience desirable.
- JDBC, ODBC
- Working knowledge of the internals of most popular open-source Linux & UNIX network applications such as Postgres/PostgreSQL, MySQL etc.
- Strong academic knowledge of database architecture.
- Strong background in software development and debugging.
- Ability to work with global virtual teams.
