Essential Experience:
Around 6 years of strong programming and team leading experience on Oracle, PL/SQL & Business Objects.
• Has been a member of a project delivery team that has successfully delivered a major business solution (applications systems into production).
Good understanding of the current IT systems environment and development paths.
• Project planning and specification skills, together with problem solving and analysis abilities. The latter is usually based on: specific industry knowledge (Banking, Manufacturing etc.) and considerable User liaison.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain good working relationships.
• Ability to identify and respond to changing trends
• Knowledge of risk management framework, principles and practices.
• Highly motivated and results focussed.
• Strong technical documentation skills and ability to manipulate and analyse data in Excel.
• Good planning and time management skills, with the capacity to work under tight timelines.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to relate to internal contacts at all levels.
• Analytical skills, accuracy, attention to detail and professional presentation are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a team.
• Ability to analyse data and identify areas for improvement.
• Knowledge of Risk Information sources & data flows.
• Excellent PC skills including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
